- A Level / Diploma/Degree in Business Administration / Procurement / Logistics or relevant field with relevant experience as Purchase Manager for 3-5 years - Experience in handling procurement process and handling of suppliers - Negotiating skills in relation to orders and costs - Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure - Ability to plan and prioritise workloads and delegate accordingly - Good Communication Skills. Please submit Applications in hard copy or as instructed below PURCHASE MANAGER Key Responsibilities: • Manage all purchasing activities of the company including effective operations of the entire purchasing process from selecting suppliers, ensuring stock optimization, negotiating with the suppliers and vendors for cost-effective deals, and providing guidance to the procurement team on sourcing and procurement process. And lead the Purchase Department as per Company’s Procurement procedure. • Improve and formulate strategies / policies for the department to function effectively and efficiently. Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending guidelines and procedures at all stages. • Research for potential vendors; Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate prices. Review purchasing agreements periodically with vendors. • Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs for the whole group. • Manage budgets, prepare costing and cost analysis. • Preparation and submission of Meeting Reports, Summary Reports and Management Reports.
