Requirements

Successful completion of GCE O'Level is mandatory. Candidates should have a minimum of three passes in GCE O'Level subjects, with the exclusion of English. Alternatively, they can have a minimum of three passes in GCE A'Level subjects, including English. A minimum of three years of work experience is necessary (with a minimum of two years required), and possessing a degree is advantageous. Preference will be given to candidates with a substantial 3-5-year background in relevant work experience within Ground Handling Operations for an airline or at an airport. Candidates should possess familiarity with aircraft loading/unloading processes, including Ramp handling and load control. While training in Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) category 9 is beneficial, it is not mandatory. Proficiency in Airport/Airline Passenger services, particularly in Check-in and boarding gate operations, is anticipated. Strong communication skills in both English and Dhivehi, along with excellent interpersonal abilities, are essential. Effective time management and a professional appearance are vital. Candidates must be capable of performing effectively under pressure, meeting strict deadlines, working independently, and extending their working hours when required. Competence in task planning and prioritization is a requirement.
