Requirements

Oversee daily operations of the resort bar, ensuring seamless service, effective inventory management, and optimized staff scheduling. Demonstrates a high degree of Velaa's culture and service standards awareness. Organizes and plans the Food & Beverage events in accordance with guidelines from F&B Management. Lead, train, and inspire bar team members to deliver outstanding guest experiences. Collaborate closely with chefs and F&B leaders to curate and update seasonal beverage menus. Manage bar budgets effectively, overseeing stock control and implementing cost-efficient practices. Proactively address guest concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution to maintain high satisfaction levels. Provide ongoing training and mentorship to the team in service excellence and product knowledge, leading by example at all times. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role at a high-end five-star luxury hotel/resort along with Certification in hospitality or bar management is preferred. In-depth knowledge of bar terminology, standard recipes, and garnishing techniques. Strong understanding of wines, spirits, and mixology. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills & confident to anticipate the needs of the Department. Possess outstanding guest service skills striving to exceed guests' expectations. Experience in Leading Quality Assurance and Forbes Travel Guide standards will be an advantage. Pleasant personality with excellent grooming and self presentation. Proficient in POS systems and inventory management software.
