Requirements

Supervise and lead the daily operations of the gardening, grounds keeping and general labor team. Plan and maintain all landscaping, planting, pruning and upkeep of garden and outdoor areas. In charge of incinerator operations, garbage segregation and recycling procedures in line with resort environmental standards. Ensure cleanliness and organization of all external areas, including pathways and utility zones. Support and complete any island maintenance tasks assigned by the department head. Lead, guide and train the laborers team to ensure productivity and safe work practices. Monitor the health and appearance of plants, trees and green spaces and act proactively. Handle the loading and unloading of supplies, materials and garbage disposal as required. Manage and maintain gardening tools, machinery and inventory supplies. Prior experience in landscaping, horticulture, or a similar supervisory role in the Maldives is an added advantage.
