Requirements

Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role in the Maldives, preferably in a luxury resort. Expertise in marine engines and power generator maintenance, with strong knowledge of RO plant and STP operations and maintenance. Proficient in AutoCAD and technical tools for project planning/design. Proven leadership in managing engineering teams with a focus on preventive and corrective maintenance. Commitment to high-quality workmanship aligned with resort standards. Skilled in cost control and managing within budget. Active involvement in energy conservation and sustainability initiatives. Ensures compliance with local regulations, environmental and safety standards. Promotes health & safety culture, conducts risk assessments, enforces PPE use. Experienced in project management, from concept to completion (renovation, expansion, capital projects). Excellent communication, problem-solving, and cross-departmental coordination skills.
