Requirements

GCE A’ level with an accounting qualification. Minimum two years of work experience in a similar role in a hotel finance department. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Working knowledge of computer software like MS Excel, Opera, and Micros would be an added advantage. Good financial analytic skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed. Salary: MVR 12,336 - 15,420 Oversee financial transactions to ensure the accuracy of income, expenses, and investments. Manage cash flow by preparing statements, budgets, and tax plans to maintain financial stability. Develop and enforce financial policies that enhance operational efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance. Prepare and analyze financial reports periodically to inform and guide strategic decision-making. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including receipts, invoices, and accounts payable/receivable. Supervise the finance team, ensuring adherence to financial policies and data accuracy. Monitor daily hotel revenue and bank transactions, promptly addressing any discrepancies. Perform financial analysis to identify cost-reduction opportunities and drive profitability. Assist in financial audits, ensuring full compliance and addressing identified issues.
